Werner Absenger is the Managing Editor and Publisher of MindBodyMed Press. You will be closely working with Michele and Werner as your manuscript is shaped into a mini monograph.

Werner is now finalizing his Ph.D. in Mind Body Medicine from Saybrook University in Oakland, California. The title of his dissertation is “Medical Hypnosis and Interleukin-1 beta in Breast Cancer Survivors.” Werner also holds a Masters of Science degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut.
As a research scientist Werner is interested in using state-of-the-art imaging techniques, immunological assays, quantitative, qualitative & mixed methods research methods to investigate mind-body modalities.
As a mind-body medicine research scientist, he takes particular interest in the study of medical hypnosis, guided imagery, mindfulness meditation, yoga, qigong, mind-body skills building groups, and nutritional status and their impact on a cancer patient’s psychoneuroimmunology and neuroimmunomodulation.
What Can You Expect from Working with Michele and Werner?
Rich and stimulating discussions and editorial feedback about your manuscript. These communications will aid our understanding of your manuscript and the essence of what you are trying to communicate. These conversations will help us put together a final publication package consisting of a mini monograph in trade paperback as well as an accompanying eBook version for Kindle, iBook and other popular eBook platforms.
You can expect an average publication time, from acceptance of your manuscript to publication of your mini monograph and eBook of five months. However, this depends largely on the length of your initial document.
